huddled low rent over
pyrex and sex on the brain

through makeshift grace
ersatz substance and abused content
deluded antacid and convenient context
to feel good about
the distance to solid ground
shared with someone like you

i am trembling through
cigarettes and cravings
of other vice or
some plausible grip
